<p>This column was written with the network marketer in mind, so the techniques taught are aimed to advance the networkers skills at inviting people to see the opportunity.</p>
<p>Getting on the phone can be very intimidating for many amateur and seasoned <a href="http://www.planetafeup.com/">network marketers</a> alike. </p>
<p>Becoming good with talking on the phone is positively critical if you want to do well in this line of work.</p>

<p>The key to getting rid of the fear of calling is to know what to do and then doing a lot of practice. You know what they say: Repetition is the mother of all skill.</p>
<p>Recall these 10 tips and implement them and you will dramatically advance your assurance on the phone.</p>
<p><strong>Cold Call Techniques</strong><br />
1. Always be cheerful on the phone, but not too crazy as to sound artificial or rehearsed. It is your energy that determines your prospects energy. Excitement is contagious.<br />
2. Don&#8217;t be surprised by the answering machine. Rehearse the message you plan to leave. You may even want to call your own phone and leave a message and then listen to it. Sometimes we don&#8217;t sound the way we think we sound!<br />
3. If your prospect is not curious, then you have nothing. In other words, you want to arouse the prospects interest as soon as possible, whether it is with humor, urgency, or sheer excitement about the product or opportunity.<br />
4. The one who asks the questions leads the conversation. You need to finish off in a question or the they will. (And it will probably be a bad one.)<br />
5. The more you say the more you are required to say. Invite! Don&#8217;t Present! (Keep in mind Rule #3). If you say a lot then the prospect will have more questions and the interaction can turn into a phone presentation; which is not the most all-purpose.<br />
6. Don&#8217;t sell what they won&#8217;t buy. Try to find out what they are interested, have desires for, or what they&#8217;re personality is drawn to, and sell the products that fit those criteria. You don&#8217;t sell bowling balls to a surfer.<br />
7. Don&#8217;t carry baggage from one call to the next. Each prospect is unique, so you have to be distinct too. Forget about your mistakes, but remember what they taught you<br />
8. Observe. Never cut off the prospect. The only way to find out what their interests, problems, and desires is to listen and observe everything. God gave us two ears and one mouth. Use them proportionally.<br />
9. Don&#8217;t buy into any of the prospects excuses, ideas, objections. 99.9% of the time that&#8217;s just what they are! If you know your product or opportunity is excellent, then they could use it in their lives!<br />
10. Know what you are inviting them to do. Is it to watch an online movie? Is it to come to a presentation? Is it to make a sale? Have you goal in mind at all times. </p>

<p>1. You can invest in the <a href="http://www.planetafeup.com/">stock market</a>, but be conservative in nature. Spend years developing a solid portfolio of stocks that pay dividends. These dividends are the way you can fund your retirement. These actions are not attractive, but you can usually have enough money to come and be comfortable. It will take many years to reap the dividends paid by people who have a level of comfort.</p>
<p>2. Another <a href="http://www.planetafeup.com/category/finance/investment/">investment option</a> is to live off the interest of public services, government bonds and some corporate bonds. Of course, depending on risk, returns are very different for each type, and only pay the initial premium or interest, no change over time. While stock dividends could increase (or decrease) the rate of investment will always be the same as when you bought the bonds.</p>

<p>3. Another option is to be a trader. Play (buy and sell quickly) the stock market and even make choices and futures trading to generate profits to fund your retirement. I hope that your nest egg is enough that you can build profits on good trades to compensate for your mistakes (everyone makes &#8220;mistakes.&#8221; One never knows in advance exactly what the market will do.) You&#8217;ll have to play more volatile stocks, so you do not believe that dividends or interest. <p>4. Last we will see a real estate investor. Over time, you can build a list of homes in a couple of two bedroom apartments, and even one or two small six housing projects. You have to make a couple of hours per week compared to the other, if you want to be a management practice, work a little ‘less, and employ a superintendent. In both cases we know that even if the value of your property decreases temporarily due to lower property values, the rent keeps coming up with the same rhythm.</p>
<p>And do not worry about the value of your property to the decrease in the short term because you will not sell, you will take your property to generate wealth for a long, long time. When your products have been paid, have more income.</p>
